Fall Developmental Program

Please sign up for our Fall Developmental Program which consists of eight two hour sessions on Sundays starting after Labor Day (First day, Sunday, Sept 18) and ending before Thanksgiving (Last day, Sunday, Nov 6). The session times are to be determined and will depend largely on the availability/preferences of the coach volunteers.The sessions will focus on skill development. Players are grouped according to the age Division in which they will be playing in the Spring 2023 Season. Helping players acclimate to new rules and ball size are important elements of the Fall Program. The program includes sessions to improve the fundamentals of hitting, bunting, running, and defense. To the greatest extent possible players will be matched with comparably skilled players to allow them to raise their skills together. We can always use more coaches, adult and youth. Adult coaches will need a Background Check and SafeSport certification; USA Softball changed the calendar for certifications so that current certifications expire on August 31, 2022. All coaches will need to complete a Background Check and SafeSport training before they can contribute to on-field practice sessions.Youth coaches!! If you are the parent of an engaging, All-star caliber player who would like to earn Community Service hours by helping to run and demonstrate drills and imparting softball knowledge, please let me know.
